Tips for Your First Win

A round lasts 60 seconds. The first fighter to win two rounds takes the match. Health starts at 100. If the clock hits zero, the higher bar wins, and equal bars draw. A win at full health is marked perfect.

Spend the meter, do not sit on it

The gold meter is labelled SHAKTI. At 100 the HUD can read SHAKTI READY. The super removes 30% of a full life bar. Waiting for a longer combo often wastes the round, because later hits in a string are worth less: the steps run 100, 90, 78, 66, 54, 44 percent, and they stop falling at 35. A clean hit while the other fighter is still starting is worth 1.2 times. Those ratios are one publisher’s build, checked 5 Nov 2026.

What the three pills change

CPU habits, official build · 1 source
PillBlock chancePunish chanceReaction
Easy18%20%0.42 s
Normal45%50%0.26 s
Hard75%85%0.14 s

I would start on Easy until block and throw feel automatic. Hard’s profile sets a 75% block decision chance and a 0.14-second reaction parameter; these are configured values, not a measured share of all attacks. The boss on that pill is a separate page, MBAPU, because regen and a Budget button do not exist in a normal CPU match.

Five ways a first match slips away

  • Jumping in on every approach. You cannot block while airborne; a grounded opponent can still block a high or mid jump-in attack.
  • Holding away for the whole round. A throw ignores a shield, and the CPU looks for that habit.
  • Firing the super into an empty side of the stage. Thirty percent of a bar you do not hit is zero.
  • Ignoring the clock. At the buzzer, the fuller bar wins. Chip at 15% can decide a timeout.
  • Picking a portrait only because the satire is funny. Walk speeds differ. The table is on characters. The buttons themselves are on controls.

These tips are editorial deductions from the public build: short strings lose less to scaling, and a throw beats a permanent shield. If you want a second human instead of these pills, use a friend room.
